Saona Island
Saona Island (Isla Saona) is a tropical paradise off the southeastern coast of the Dominican Republic, and it is one of the most popular day trip destinations for visitors to the island. The island is part of the Parque Nacional del Este (Eastern National Park), a protected area known for its stunning beaches, crystal-clear waters, and abundant marine life.
One of the top attractions near Saona Island is the Natural Pool, a shallow sandbar located in the middle of the Caribbean Sea. This is typically a stop on boat tours to Saona Island. The water here is very shallow (waist-deep in most places) and crystal clear, making it a perfect spot to relax and swim. The natural pool is also known for its starfish, which can be found in the sand. You will also have your typical Dominican Lunch, Rum, soda and water. The return will be on board of a Catamaran where you will be entertained by the staff making sure that you had a very wonderful day
